- Nettie D. Aerts, 93, Wrightstown, passed away Friday, June 11, 2010, at her home. She was born May 21, 1917, in Wrightstown, daughter to the late Martin and Hattie (Coenen) Hendricks. She married Elzear Aerts on Aug. 19, 1936, in Wrightstown, and he preceded her in death on July 2, 1975.
She was a lifelong member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her life.
Survivors include her seven children, Don (Rosie), Russ (Joan), Yvonne (Ken) Cumbers, Roger (Mary), Judy (Len) Vickman, Janice Daniels and Tom (Ann); one daughter-in-law, Ruth Aerts (Jim Wellner); 27 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Aggie Roebke; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Nettie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Dick; son-in-law, Clarence; five brothers and one sister.
Family and friends may call Monday, June 14, 2010, from 4 to 8 p.m. at DeWane-Cotter Funeral Home, 711 Main St., Wrightstown, where there will be a Parish Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the procession leaves for St. Clare/St. Paul Catholic Church, Wrightstown.
