  PIONEER RESIDENT OF ELLINGTON SUCCUMBS Special to Post-Crescent Ellington - Mrs. Agnes Laird, 85, widow of the late Alexander Laird died early Monday morning at her farm home in this town. She is one of the earliest pioneers of Outagamie- Co., coming to this country with her husband from County Antrim, Ireland in 1869 and settling on the present homestead. She is survived by three daughters, the Misses Elizabeth, and Letitia at home and Mrs. Guy Sykes, of this place; three; sons,William and Sannie, Ellington, and Dr. John J. Laird of Black Creek; 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the First Congregational, church, at Shiocton, with burial in the parish cemetery.
