  Margaret Kneepkens, 85, of Kaukauna, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at American Grand surrounded by her family in Kaukauna. Margaret was born on January 19, 1928 to Arnold and Mary (Brouwers) Mahn in Kaukauna. On October 30, 1948 she was united in marriage to August Kneepkens in Kimberly. Margaret enjoyed knitting, gardening, reading and sewing. The most important things in her life were her family and spending time with them was her passion. The times they spent together will always be treasured. Margaret Kneepkens is survived by; three children: Robert (Susan) Kneepkens of Neenah; Karlyn (Kenneth) Saffran of Little Chute; and Susan (Bruce) Kritz of Blythewood, South Carolina; six grandchildren: Karl Saffran, Katie Saffran, Kimberly Kneepkens, Denise (Nick) Lievano, Kevin (Kristine) Schwarzbauer, and Michael (Jessica) Schwarzbauer; one great grand child, Lucas Joseph Lievano; three sisters: Marian (David) Spangenberg, Lynn (David) Williams, and Karen (Paul) Scott, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Augie and two brothers, Gerald and Richard Mahn. In keeping with Margaret's wishes the family held a private service. The family would like to thank American Grand, Heartland Hospice, especially Jill and Michael, and Pastor Levi Willms for all the care and concern during this difficult time.
