Katherine "Kathy" (Clark) Cuene, 76, De Pere, passed away after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer at Unity Hospice - Jack and Engrid Meng Residence, Tuesday, March 17, 2009.
The daughter of Roland and Gladys (Monroe) Clark was born May 26, 1932, in Green Bay.
Kathy married Bill Cuene April, 24, 1954, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Darboy.
Kathy retired from Shopko, De Pere, after 19 years, and enjoyed her breakfast club with her Shopko friends. She also enjoyed knitting, crafts, going to craft shows and flea markets, but most of all spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of almost 55 years, Bill Cuene; children, Craig (Nan) Cuene, Christopher (Amy) Cuene, Bob (Gail) Cuene, Brian (Debbie) Cuene, Karen (Dean) Stoller, Scott (special friend, Kelly Rickaby) Cuene; grandchildren, Kelly and Casey Cuene, Carly and Clare Cuene, Ryan and Brett Cuene, Amanda and Alyssa Cuene, Casey and Carson Stoller, Kristopher and Kassandra Rickaby; two great-grandchildren, Mason Krueger and Tristyn Kellon; sisters, Jean (Frank) Kirschbraun and Jacqueline (Frank) Roseberry; brother-in-law, Don Marcouiller; in-laws, Don (Evie) Cuene, Peggy McGuire, Ginny (Pat) Dwyer; and nieces and nephews.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Gladys Clark; parents-in-law, Bill and Marion Cuene; an infant daughter; sister, Adris Marcouiller; and brother-in-law, Roland McGuire.
Family and friends may call Thursday, March 19, 2009, from the hours of 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Community, Pope John the XXIII Circle, off Sportsman Drive, town of Ledgeview, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue Friday morning at the church from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at church, with Rev.
