  Helen L. Doran, age 75, of Appleton, passed away at Grand Horizons Assisted Living - Grand Chute, on Wednesday, June 12, 2013. She was born on July 23, 1937, in Hortonville, to the late Fred and Ella (Boelter) Lemke. Helen truly enjoyed life: she enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, and especially enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren. Survivors include her daughters, Lori (Mike) Smith and Linda Doran; her six beloved grandchildren, Jim, Amanda, Laura, Emily, Madeline and Michael; her sisters, Adeline Luedtke and Bernice Nobbe; and her son-in-law, Paul Lambert. Helen was preceded in death by her daughter, Pattie Lambert; four brothers and one sister. Private family memorial services will be held at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Appleton. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staffs of Grand Horizons, Southern Care Hospice, Oak Ridge Gardens, and Dr. Makeever and his staff, for their loving care.
