- Darlene Kay Arndt, "Dar", Kaukauna, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at home with her family by her side. She was born May 22, 1941, daughter of the late Gerald and Margaret (Hoehne) Vils. Dar loved camping, spending time in Florida, and traveling. She enjoyed arts, crafts, antiques, and loved online gaming and shopping. Dar loved spending time with family and friends, especially the kids and grandkids.
She is survived by her husband of 11 years, Dan; her daughter, Shellie Barkman and her daughter, Karlyn and her daughter, Kennedy; her son, Gregg Kobs; step-children: Sean Arndt and his children, Paige, Haley and Drew, Cathy (Dave) O'Keeffe and their children, Collin, Brennen and Maive, Patricia (Patrick) Burns and their children, Case, Cal and Jimmy; her sister, Sue (Tim) Landreman; father-in-law, Gerald Arndt; sister-in-law, Jenny Vils; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Ray Vils and Dick Vils; a sister, Kris Biersteker; and mother-in-law, Joan Arndt.
A Memorial Service for Dar will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH at St. Mary Church with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating.
