  Mrs. John Kennedy, 72, died Thursday morning of last week at the home of her son, Leon, in the town of Bovina. Mrs. Kennedy was one of the very few pioneers of the town of Bovina. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon from the residence with the Rev. Mr. Conkle conducting services. Appleton Post-Crescent, Appleton, WI, Saturday, November 12, 1921, page 6.
