- Margaret L. (Relien) Kreblein, age 91, passed away on May 27, 2010, at Theda Clark Medical Center. Margaret was born November 28, 1918, in Appleton, Wisconsin, daughter of Fred C. and Emma (Dettman) Relien. She married Gerald W. Kreblein on October 4, 1941, and he preceded her in death May 19, 2002. They were Neenah residents for 60 years before moving to Touchmark Assisted Living in 2001. Margaret was very involved in charity work by knitting baby items for Stitches from the Heart, a non-profit which donates baby clothes and blankets to underprivileged preemies and newborns. She was an avid reader, bridge and bingo player. She was also an excellent baker and cook and will be remembered for her outstanding holiday cookies and desserts. Margaret worked for Kimberly-Clark for 25 years and was a member of the Kimberly-Clark Quarter Century Club.
Margaret will be greatly missed by her two daughters and their families: Sharon Messer (Arnold Messer) Beverly Hills, California; Karla Kreblein (Daniel Litwinski), Clayton, North Carolina; her two grandchildren: Meredith and Scott, Los Angeles, California; three nephews: Steven Relien (Shirley), Fort Worth, Texas; Jack Relien (Jean), Appleton, Wisconsin; and Chris Relien, Libby, Montana.
Her brother Gilbert J. Relien and sister-in-law Vivian Relien preceded her in death.
Memorial Services will be held at Touchmark Assisted Living, 2601 Touchmark Drive, Appleton, Wisconsin, on Saturday, May 29, 2010, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a Memorial Fund has been established in her name at the First Presbyterian Church of Neenah.
The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to Margaret's devoted friends, neighbors and to especially thank the caregivers and staff at Touchmark Assisted Living for their loving care.
