- Margaret Kilgas, "Muggs", Kaukauna, age 78 died peacefully on March 13, 2015 at her home. She was born August 5, 1937 in Kaukauna, daughter of the late Ervin and Martha (Verkuilen) Borree. On December 27, 1958 Muggs married her high school sweetheart, Donald Kilgas. The couple enjoyed 34 years of marriage together prior to his death in 1992. Muggs retired from Thilmany Pulp and Paper. She enjoyed her pool, her dog and her friends. Muggs spent as much time with the grandchildren as she could. She enjoyed "celebrating life" (as loudly as she could). Muggs was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish at St. Mary Church, active in the Kaukauna Alumni Association, the Outagamie Historical Society, a member of the "Red Hats" and she volunteered at Memorial Gardens.
She is survived by her son, Christopher and Sue Kilgas, Kaukauna; 2 daughters: Kay (Tim) Siebers, Kaukauna and Ann (Branden) Hacker, Kaukauna; 5 grandchildren: Lisa Kilgas, Matt Kilgas, James Siebers, Lexi Hacker and Cameron Hacker; her dog and buddy "Buckeye"; 2 brothers: Dick (Rosie) Borree, Little Chute and John (Betty) Borree; 2 sisters: Yvonne (Richard) Landwehr, Sheboygan and Judy Borree, Mt. Horeb, WI; numerous nieces and nephews. She is further survived by her husband's sisters: Rita Gatz, Kaukauna and Joan (Francis) Gerow, Kaukauna.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don in 1992 and a granddaughter, Monica.
Funeral Services for Margaret will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH at St. Mary Church, 119 West 7th St., Kaukauna with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a parish prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Friends may call again on Wednesday directly at church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. 766-2099. www.boettcherfamilyfuneral.com
