- Vande Hey, Mark R.Mark R. Vande Hey, Appleton, age 84, died on August 24, 2005, at Colony Oa ks Care Center. Mark was born in Wrightstown, WI, on March 15, 1921, s on of the late Henry and Nellie (Kerkoff) Vande Hey.He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mark married F lorence Boylan at St. John Catholic Church on August 28, 1948, in Morriso n, WI. She preceded him in death on January 2, 2002. Mark was employ ed at Thilmany Pulp and Paper for 41 years, retiring in 1982. He was a mem ber of the Thilmany Quarter Century Club.Mark will be greatly missed by his daughter, Cheryl (Tom) Jakl, two grandc hildren: Seth and Leigh Jakl, godchildren: Debra Pierquet and Amanda Van de Hey, brothers: Gordon, Roland (Rita), Orville, Gerald (Jean), Hilary (B everly) and Virgil (Sandra), sister, Mary Ellen (Leonard) Sprangers, siste rs-in-law: Loretta Vande Hey-Sanderfoot, Mary Kennedy, Vivian Du Prey, bro thers-in-law: James (Bernice) Baylon and Arthur Van Handel, and many niece s, nephews, other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his brothers: Howard, Ralph, Clayton, Myron (M arilla), Alois and Eugene, sisters: Vivian (Ray) Eisman, Marlene Sprangers -Griesbach and Bernice Van Handel, sisters-in-law: Janet, Margaret and P at Vande Hey, and brothers-in-law: Lawrence Sprangers and Leroy Griesbach.The funeral service will be held at 12 p.m., Noon, on Monday, August 29, 2 005, at HIGHLAND MEMORIAL PARK, Star of Hope Chapel, 3131 North Richmond S treet, Appleton, with Rev. David Zimmerman officiating. The visitation wi ll be held at 11:30 a.m. until the time of service.
