  Miss Julia Schwab, daughter of Wenzel Schwab, stepped on some broken glass, cut her foot, blood poisoning followed and death terminated her sufferings on the 26th. from Appleton-Crescent (weekly) p.3 Aug 4, 1888. At St. Joseph's church yesterday afternoon occurred the funeral of Julia, the thirteen year old daughter of Wenzel Schwab of the 6th ward. Death resulted in a very unusual way. About a week ago the little girl stepped on some glass and cut her foot. Blood poisoning set in and death resulted. from Appleton Post p.5 Aug 2, 1888.
