  1889 Kaukauna Sun dated 4/05/1889; Settled an Old Grudge - On Tuesday nig ht last 3 Buchanan boys met on the south side and settled a long standi ng grudge in a knockdown. They were John Powers, Gleshine, and O'Connell. Powers whipped the two latter single handed in just two minutes and a half. It was no credit to our city to stand by and permit the fig ht to go on without interfering.

  See Image John Glasheen, 65, 418 Sta te St, died Thursday morning. He is survived by two children, Ross and Eli zabeth of Appleton and five brothers; Daniel, Jeremiah, William, Michae l, and Thomas of Kaukauna. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 Saturd ay morning at St. Mary church. Internment will be in St. Francis cemete ry in Hollandtown. This is the fourth death in the Glasheen family with in a year. Mr. Glasheen's wife, a son and a daughter died within that peri od.
