  Daniel C. Clune died 11/4 at the ho me of his daughter Mrs. John Collins. Born at Innes, County Clare and w as 73 years old. Settled 47 years ago in Buchanan resided there 40 year s. He was Clerk of the school board and assesor for 17 years, Leaves a gro wn family. Charles of Buchanan, Mrs. John Collins of this city, Thomas a nd James of Buchanan and George, William and John of Rhinelander. Servic es at St. Mary's buried at Holland where his wife preceded him about 6 yea rs ago.

  Family History Researcher	Rose Caroline Collins informattion. Daniel C. Clune cam from County Cork in Ireland and attended Dublin University. Daniel C. Clune married Ann O'colligan from County Clare. They came to Wisconsin Hollandtown and lived on a farm. He was County Clerk at Appleton Wisconsin, surveryer, judge and his name is still in Appleton. They had si boys, Charles, Thomas, William, John, James, George and one daughter Ann Marie who married John Michael Collins More information: Daniel C. Clune was born in County Cork Ireland and married Ann Mary O'Collagan in their early twenties. Ann Mary O'Collagan was born in County Clare, Ireland. Came to America shortly after they were married. Came up Mississippi River to Georgia then to Wisconsin. They homesteaded two large farms near Kaukauna Wisconsin. Daniel C. Clune was educated at Dublin University while in Ireland. Had offices in the County Court house at Appleton Wisconsin. Was Clerk of Court, Justice of Peace, Surveyor and other clerical positions. The had six sons and one daughter, Ann Maria - born in 1854 the youngest of the family. Her brothers, Charles, Thomas, William, John, James, George. Ann Maria married John Michael Collins in 1873. She was born in Springfield, Massachusetts and married at 17.
