- Donald "Don" Endries, age 75, of Brillion, died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 9, 2010, at Calumet Medical Center in Chilton. He was born March 21, 1935, in Brillion, son of the late Wilfred and Marie (Mullins) Endries. He married Estelle Carstens on July 16, 1966, in Brillion. He owned and operated the Donald M. Endries Insurance Agency in Brillion. He also worked at Jentink Chevrolet in Brillion for many years. Don was active in his community. He enjoyed spending time with his family at the cottage. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion.
Survivors include his wife, Estelle, his children: Scott (Karri) Endries, Brillion; Michelle (John) Drewieske, Brillion; five grandchildren: Amber, Amanda and Austin Drewieske, Carstens and Branden Endries; a sister, Judith (Ronald) Hernke, De Pere; a brother, Bob (Pat) Endries, Shawano, a sister-in-law, Doris Endries, Green Bay; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Hank (Jan) Carstens, Brillion; Charles (Ruth) Carstens, Gering, NB; Beth (Jeff) Duchrow, Cedarburg; many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Raymond and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Edward and Elda Carstens.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at NOON on Friday, May 14, 2010, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. Rev. Tom Long will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Mary Cemetery, Brillion. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at the church on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of mass.
