- Robert L. Van Hulst, age 77, Seymour passed away Sunday evening February 20, 2011, in Green Bay. He was born December 10, 1933, in Wisconsin, son of the late John and Cordula (Fischer)Van Hulst. On June 8, 1963 he was united in marriage to Carol Widder. Bob was a Korean Army veteran. He enjoyed trips to the casinos in the area with his daughter and was second in line for the first bingo game ever played in Oneida. Bob enjoyed his fishing trip to Cass Lake and most of all enjoyed time spent with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife Carol, Seymour; children: Charlotte 'Char" (special friend Dale) Krahn, Greenleaf; Robert (fiancee Julie) Van Hulst, Appleton; and Terrance (fiancee Heather) Van Hulst, Suamico; 11 grandchildren; Nicholle, Michelle, Jeremy (special friend Stacey), Miranda (Josh), Mitchell, Alex, Zach, Robert (Haley), Nicole, Nicholas, and Brittany, great-grandchildren: Summer, Mason, Dominick, Cathrin, Logan, Jeffery and Colton; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, special friend Jack.
Preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters and a special Nephew Chuck.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, February 25, 2011, at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour from 3 p.m. until Memorial Services at 5 p.m. with Chaplin Kay Schumacher officiating. Military Rites to follow services. Burial of Cremains will be at Queen of Peace Cemetery in Antigo in the spring. On line condolences may be made at www.muehlboettcher.com.
