- Siebers, Richard F. "Dic k" 821 Blackwell St., KaukaunaAge 71, died November 26, 2002 at his home, following a courageous batt le with cancer. He was born January 10, 1931, in Kaukauna; son of the la te Albert and Mary (Verhagen) Siebers. He was a graduate of the Kaukauna H igh School. On October 29, 1949, he was united in marriage to Patricia Mar tzahl at Holy Cross Catholic Church by Rev. Andrew Quella. Dick was employ ed by Thilmany Pulp and Paper Company for some forty-two years, worki ng in many different departments. He knew everyone in the mill! He also te nded bar part-time for seventeen years. Dick was a member of Holy Cross Ch urch, where he sang in the Queen of Peace Choir. Dick was also a fifty-ye ar member of the Catholic Order of Foresters. He loved playing center a nd watching football, reading, hunting, card playing, gardening, wine-maki ng, music, dancing, re-finishing woodwork, and upholstering. Dick's favori te pastime was fishing, especially at his cottage on Range Line Lake.He is survived by his wife: Pat Siebers of Kaukauna; eight children: Dr. D aniel (Julieen) Siebers of Gilroy, California; Dawn (Bill) Ferg of Lake Ne bagamon, Wisconsin; Pamela (Duane) Brockman of Kaukauna; Perry (Amy) Siebe rs of Waukesha; Timothy (Barb) Siebers of Kaukauna; Toni (John) Hungerfo rd of Kaukauna; Jack Siebers of Kaukauna; and Jeff Siebers of Kaukauna. Di ck is also survived by his loving grandchildren: Isabel Siebers, Melanie ( David) Winter, Adam Ferg, Kate Brockman, Emily Brockman and her fiance Jam es Vercauteren, Jacqueline, Nicole, Taylor, and Madelyn Siebers, Wesley Si ebers, Hollie (John) Hammen, Heather Nabbefeld, Tyler, Tara, Cody, and Jac ob Hungerford, Alex and Rachael Siebers; four great-grandchildren: Hunt er and Bianca Hammen and Olivia and Sophia Winter; a sister: Gloria DeBru in of Kaukauna; two sisters-in-law: Zada Siebers of Kimberly and Mary Lapp en of Kaukauna; two brothers-in-law: Bob Martzahl of Kaukauna and Bill Mar tzahl of Appleton. Dick is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, o ther relatives, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parent s, a brother Jim Siebers, a sister Evelyn Siebers, his father and mother-i n-law Walter (Kate Dolan) Martzahl; two brothers-in-law: Fritz DeBruin, D on Lappen; three sisters-in-law: Lillian (Don) Hopfensperger, Dorothy Mart zahl, and Ceil Martzahl; a niece Kathy Lappen, and a nephew Jim Martzahl.The funeral liturgy will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 30, 20 02 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street in Kaukauna with F r. Jim Lucas officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Frien ds may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4-7 PM and again Saturd ay at the funeral home from 9 AM until the procession leaves for the churc h. Visiting hours on Friday will conclude with a parish prayer and scriptu re service at 7 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contr ibutions may be donated to the Richard Siebers Endowment Fund for Holy Cro ss School.The family would like to extend their gratitude to Gloria DeBruin and Bru ce Siebers for their weekly visits, as well as to Kathy from ThedaCa re at Home.We are all God's children from the morning of our birth.
