  John M. Bayer Menasha- John M. Bayer, 85, died at 11:45 Friday evening at the home of his daughter Mrs. Andrew Muehlenbein, Route 1, after an illness of a month. Born January 18, 1860 in New York, he had been a resident of Menasha and the Town of Menasha ever since childhood. He was a member of St. Mary Holy Name Society and the Third Order of St. Francis and the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin. Survivors are one daughter; Mrs. Amndrew Muehlenbein, Route 1; two brothers, John H. Bayer, Menasha and Joseph Bayer, Chicago and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning at St. Mary's Church, with the Rt. Rev. Mssg. John Hummel in charge. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. The cotage will form at 8:30 Tuesday morning at the Laemmerich Funeral home where the body may be viewed after 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon. The Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock Monday evening.
