  MATHIAS BRILL Mathias Brill, 49, 112 E. Fifth street, Kaukauna, died at 6:40 Wednesday evening at his home. He had been ill since March. Mr. Brill was born in 1889 in the town of Buchanan and attended St. Mary school and Kaukauna High school. He was employed at Combined Locks before he became a machinist at the Chicago and North Western railroad shop at Kaukauna. Mr. Brill was secretary of the Machinist lodge and a member of St. Mary church Catholic Order of Foresters, St. Boniface society and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Surviving are the widow; two sons, James, Gene, Kaukauna; four sisters. Miss Lena Brill. Miss Anna Brill. Mrs. Fred Goetzman, Kaukauna and Mrs. Charles Sambs, Hortonville. The funeral will be conducted at 8:30 Saturday morning at the Kaukauna residence with services at 9 o'clock at St. Mary church by the Rev. Alphonse Roder and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
