- Mrs. Robert Wegand, (Rita Verh agen), age 52, died 11:50 a.m. Thursday after a lingering illness. She w as born August 17th, 1923 in Kaukauna. She was a member of the American L egion Post, #258, Little Chute, and a veteran of World War II. Survivors i nclude a daughter, Christine, at home; five sons: Donald, of Greenleaf; Ro nald and Timothy, both of Little Chute; James, of Kaukauna; Joseph, of Kim berly; three brothers; Donald Verhagen, of Wrightstown; James Verhage n, of Kaukauna, Michael Verhagen, of Appleton; six sisters: Mrs. Urban (Ba rbara) VanAsten, Little Chute; Mrs. Robert (Jeanette) VanDeurzen, of Litt le Chute; Mrs. Herbert (Josephine) George, Mrs. Nick (Wilma) Vandehey, a nd Mrs. Richard (Dorothy) Wolf, of Kaukauna; Mrs. Victor (Florence) Staeg e, New London; eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husb and Robert and a sister Rosella. The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturd ay at the St. John Catholic Church with Reverend Monsignor James Vandenhog en officiating. Internment will be in the parish cemetery. Military righ ts will immediately follow the mass on Saturday.
