- See Image Mrs. Michael Verhagen, Ju ne L Zornow, 1325 East Pauline St., Appleton, aged 71, passed away on Sund ay, March 23, 1997 at Franciscan care center. She was born on June 4th, 1 920 5 in Little Chute, the daughter of the late Walter and Theodora (Janse n) Zornow and had resided in the Little Chute, Kaukauna and Appleton ar ea all of her life. She was united in marriage to Michael Verhagen on Sep tember 24th, 1942 sharing 54 years together. June was formerly employ ed by Speed Mitchells in Kaukauna and also by Elm Tree Credit Union (Rich 's). June loved playing cards and bowling. Over the years, June and Mich ael had won several championships. She was a member of St. Thomas More Ca tholic church. Survivors include her husband, Michael, three daughters a nd two sons in law Mary and Ken Rapp, of Buffalo N.Y.; Nancy and Tim Verme tte, of Barre, Vermont; Katie and her special friend Denise Morris; Bruc e, Wisconsin; five sons and two daughters in law; David and Sharon Verhage n, of Neenah; Jeffrey Verhagen, of Appleton; Stephen Verhagen and his spec ial friend Carl Grebe, of Port Orange Florida; Theodore Verhagen, of Apple ton, Joe and Micki Verhagen, of Appleton: a daughter in law Bonnie and Ly le Verhagen-Malliet of Neenah, former daughter in law Nancy Verhagen, of A ppleton; two brothers and sisters in law, Bill and Margaret Zornow and Ja ck and Maggie Zornow, all of Little Chute, three sisters and a broth er in law: Phyllis Nelson, of Little Chute, Marion VanGroll, of Appleto n; Carol and Ray Schmidt, of Kaukauna; a brother in law, James Verhage n, of Kaukauna; two sisters in law, Barbara Van Asten and Jeannette VanDue rzen, both of Little Chute, 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, niec es, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Besides her parents, Ju ne was preceded in death by a son, Michael, an infant sister, several brot hers and sisters in law, her father and mother in law: Michael and Catheri ne Verhagen. The mass of resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. We dnesday March 26th, 1997 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, corner of Gle ndale and McDonald St. with Reverend Gerald Falk officiating. Burial wi ll be in the St. Joseph's cemetery.
