  Robert VanDeurzen, "Rags", 533 Van Buren St., Little Chute; Age 59, died unexpectedly early Friday morning. He was born March 13th, 1922, in Combined Locks. He died on 24 Apr 1981 in Little Chute, Outagamie, Wisconsin. He had been employed by Appleton Papers (Locks Mill.) Mr. VanDeurzen was a member of the American Legion Post 258, the Quarter Century Club, and was a World War II veteran. Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Verhagen Van Deurzen; two daughters: Kathy, of Menasha; Mrs. Jim (Susan) Spierings, of Combined Locks; five sons: Robert and Mike, both of Little Chute; Don, Steve, and Scott, all at home; three brothers: Jim, of Little Chute; Paul, of Comb ined Locks; Eugene, of Kaukauna; a sister, Mrs. Ray (Marilyn) Staudt, Manitowoc; a stepbrother, Roger VanderWyst, Combined Locks; two stepsisters: Mrs. Ray (Margaret) Vandenberg, Little Chute; Mrs. Pat (Bernice) Blohm, of Little Chute; two grandchildren: Bobby and Amy. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: John and Ervin; three sisters: Evelyn, Aggie and Alice; two stepbrothers: Joe and Rich. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday from the St. John Catholic Church, with the Reverend Richard Klingeisen officiating. Internment will be in the parish cemetery.
