- Edwin H. Domer Edwin H. Domer, 73, of 1522 W. Bent Ave., died Sunday at 7 p.m. at Mercy Hospital. He had been in ill health the past year. He was born in Unity, Wis.. on Jan. 2. 1894, and was married in Colby to Elsie Johnson on June 28, 1917. Mr. Domer had been in construction work most of his life, and at the time of his retirement several years ago was superintendent at Meyer Construction Co. He was associated with Fiss & Bills Funeral Home from 1936-41. He served with the medical corps during World War I, and was a member of World War Veterans 1472. He also was a member of St John Evangelical Lutheran Church and of the local carpenters and joiners union. Surviving are his wife, Elsie; two daughters, Mrs. Howard Manthei, Rockford, Ill., and Mrs. Donald Schneider, Oshkosh; five brothers, Wesley, Joseph, Herman and Albert Domer, Oshkosh. and Walter Domer, Rice Lake; one sister, Mrs. Oscar Pribbernow, Oshkosh; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Fiss & Bills Funeral Home, with the Rev. Thomas A. Asuma, pastor of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 3-9 p.m. World War Veterans 1472 will meet at the funeral home Tuesday at 7 p.m.
