  Herman W. Schroeder Aged 76, Kaukauna, passed away at 7:30 p.m. Monday after a few days illness. He was born on May 22, 1888 in the Town of Freedom to Ernst and Johanna (Timmers) Schroeder. He lived in the Oconto area and in Kaukauna for the past 28 years. He was employed at the Thilmany Pulp and Paper Co. until his retirement in 1955. Mr. Schroeder is survived by his wife Hilda; four daughters: Mrs John (Mildred) Verhasselt, Wrightstown; Mrs. Gregory (Lucille) Southwell, Bensenville, Ill.; Mrs. Robert (May) Gallagher, Arlington Heights, Ill.; Mrs. Daniel (Mary Ann) Geske, Kaukauna; four sons: Carl, U.S. Navy, Torrence, Calif.; Melvin, Richard, Lawrence all of Kaukauna; one brother: Albert, Appleton; three sisters: Mrs. August (Meta) Stern, Seymour, WI; Mrs. Herman (Ida) Schroeder and Mrs. Albert (Minnie) Rohm, both of Appleton; 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
