  The obituary states that Cecilia died of heart aliment. Jackie Schmidt remembers that one of the two women from Idaho had a short leg and her shoe was fitted to make her walk evenly. She said she thought it was the shorter of the two and writer thinks Cecilia was shorter than Sadie. Sadie and her husband George came to the Orchards in 1909 and purchased property on Bryden Ave where they maintained orchards. The Lewiston Orchards was an irrigated district located on a level plateau to the south of the city of Lewiston, in altitude of 700 feet above the city. From the plateau one obtains a beautiful view of the Snake and Clearwater rivers valleys, as well as the Blue and Crain mountains. The district consisted of 4,300 acres with fruits, berries and vegetables being raised.
