  Joan M. Ryan, 77, Poway CA. formerly of Menasha, WI passed away at home on September 25, 2011 with her daughters at her side, after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Neeah on July 10, 1934. She graduated from Menasha High School in 1952. Before retirement she was a loan processor at various banks. She also earned her real estate license. Joan is survived by her three children; Tommy (Nachell) Nabbefeld, Oshkosh, Amy Nabbefeld, Poway CA, Joy Robinson (Eric Duncan) Poway CA, granddaughter Amanda Nabbefeld (Ryan Giffey) Oshkosh, and great granddaughter Sydney Giffey, Oshkosh and her dog peanut. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pat and Millie (Giese) Ryan. Published in Appleton Post-Crescent on September 27, 2011
