- See Image Janis Mary Lenz, "Ma" ( Verhagen) Born January 16th, 1936 in Little Chute; went to be with Jes us on Sunday, August 8th, 1999. She is the daughter of the late Louis Ver hagen. She is survived by her mother, Ceil Verhagen, Appleton, a brothe r, Jerry and Nadine Verhagen, a sister, Eileen and Herald Strauch, her hus band, David Lenz, Little Chute, a daughter Lois Lenz, Little Chute; a so n, Bill and Janet Lenz and grandchildren, Ben, Nate and Seth, Little Chut e, a son, Bob and Carol Lenz and the grandchildren Amber, Danielle, Davi d, Joyel and Tim, Little Chute; the son, Jim and Mary Lenz and grandchildr en, Leigha and Bethany, Green Bay. She was also a mother to Joey who di ed at birth and Timmer for 19 and one-half years, who was a special nee ds child she cared for all of his life. She was a fully devoted follow er of the Lord Jesus and shared a contagious love for him with all who kn ew her. She was a very active member in the Church of the rock Communi ty Church in Menasha, and a speaker for L.I. F E Promotions, an organizati on committed to reaching youth. She will be remembered for her passiona te love of Christ, her servants heart to, her compassionate and sensiti ve spirit, her unconditional love of others, her commitment to prayer a nd worship, and her desire to see others come to know and love Jesus to o. She will also be remembered for her love for her family, her phenomen al cooking and hospitality. She enjoyed being at the family cottage wi th her family. Her family loved her so deeply. She modeled the love a nd life of Christ to us. We miss you so much. While we grieve our los s, we are comforted to know she is joining his presence, fully.
