  Donna Mae Maynard, age 68, of Kaukauna, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016 at Appleton Medical Center. She was born on May 3, 1947 to the late Albert and Evelyn (Hooyman) Huisman. She married the love of her life, Michael Maynard on November 19, 1966. She graduated from St. John's in Little Chute. She made a career at Badger Northland and made many wonderful friends. Donna and Mike loved to travel in her motorhome and seasonal camping with their children, and close friends, Skip and Carol Hewitt. Her true passion was foster care for children, over the years opening their home and hearts to over 14 children. Donna is survived by her husband of 49 years, Michael; her mother-in-law Marie Guy; her children: Michelle (Ken) Firchow, Vicki (Daniel) Running, Andrea (special friend Cassidy Bybee) Maynard, Justin (special friend Lucinda Shannon) Maynard, Megan (special friend Matt Vande Vyver) Maynard, Brody Maynard, and Jamie (Freddie) Quezada; grandkids: Elizabeth, Nicholas, and Abigail Firchow, Samuel Running, Grayson Bybee, Lelend Skalmusky, Thalia, Fernando Jr., Tatiana, Freddie S., and Juan Quezada; brothers-in-law: James Sprangers, Wallace (Marilyn), Gerald (Ellie), Kenneth (Deb), Jeff (Peggy) Maynard and Bob (Pam) Guy; sisters-in-law: Sue Maynard, Pam (Rod) Pues and Cheryl Fritz; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents; fathers-in-law: Wallace Maynard and Harry Guy; sister Carol Sprangers; brother Joseph Huisman; many other relatives. A Memorial Service for Donna will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating.
