- Robert C. Kamke, 71, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. He was born on July 26, 1938, to the late Edward and Elsie (Kahler) Kamke. Robert was employed by Brewster Village in Appleton as a CNA until his retirement in 2003. He enjoyed going to rummage sales collecting rare and odd things, going out to eat, spending time with his family, his favorite holiday was Christmas.
He is survived by his companion Daniel Henry, four children: Sandra (David) Kamke, Iola; Ronda (William) Ozment, Fremont; Pamela (Gregory) Beschta, Appleton; and Steven (Nicole) Kamke, Appleton; one sister Erna (Edward) Steffen, Greenville; two brothers: Marvin Kamke and friend Ginger, Appleton; Melvin (Evelyn) Kamke, Appleton; and one sister-in-law, Mary (Clarence) Kamke, Appleton; eight grandchildren: Jesse (Melissa), Ryan, Joshua, Benjamin, Samantha, Isabel, Stephen, and Matthew; one great-granddaughter; Alexis and one step grand-daughter Kayonna; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Clarence Kamke; a sister-in-law Maxine Kamke; and a son-in-law Timothy Ozment.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 19, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the Star of Hope Chapel in Highland Memorial Park. Friends and family may call on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of services at the chapel.

Dad, you will be deeply missed by all of us. We will miss your humor, laughter and smile, but most of all your hugs and kisses. Till we meet again, we love you and miss you.
