- Mrs. Alfred Endres, Pauline Romenesko Piette, age 71, passed away a Saturday afternoon, July 20th, after a brief illness. She was born October 26th, 1902 in Freedom, where she lived until the age of 17, at which time she became an Appleton resident where she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic church. Besides her husband Alfred, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Gilbert (Patricia) Fulcer, of Neenah; a son, Harlan Piette, of Menasha; two stepchildren, Mrs. Frederick (Jean) Raatz, of Oshkosh, and Joseph Endres of Appleton; three brothers, John Romenesko of Peshtigo, Clem of Route 3 Appleton, and Walter of Shawano; four sisters, Mrs. Bernard (Mathilda) Hietpas, Mrs. Henry (Florence) Vandynhoven, Mrs. Harry (Marion) Vander Steen, and Mrs. John (Lillian) Vandynhoven, all of Kaukauna; eight grandchildren and five step grandchildren. Complete funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday from St. Joseph Catholic Church.
