  Mrs. Nick Thurner, Gladys Rom enesko, 2025 North Summit Street, age 54, passed away Sunday at 11:45 p. m. after a nine month illness. She was born March 3rd, 1909 in the to wn of Freedom and lived in Appleton and vicinity all of her life. She w as a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers's Alt er Society. Mrs. Thurner is survived by her husband: one daughter, Lila M ay, and one son, David, both at home; five sisters, Mrs. Barney (Mathild a) Hietpas, Mrs. John (Lillian) Vandynhoven, Mrs. Henry (Florence) Vandyn hoven, and Mrs. Harvey (Mary) VanderSteen, all of Kaukauna and Mrs. Alfr ed (Pauline) Endres, of Appleton; three brothers, John Romenesko, of DePer e; Clem Romenesko, of Appleton and Walter Romenesko, of Black Creek. Requ iem High Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Pius X Catholic Chur ch internment will be in St. Joseph cemetery.
