- David G. Lenz, "Popcorn" David was born March 1st, 1933, in Little Chute, Wisconsin. We nt to be with Jesus on Friday, September 8th, 2000. He is the son of t he late Bill and Lillian Lenz. He is preceded in death by his dear wif e, Janet Lenz Verhagen whom he loved so much. He was also preceded in dea th by a son, Joey, who died at birth and "Timmer" for 19 years who was a s pecial needs child he helped care for all his life. He is survived by t wo brothers, Cletus (Marie) Lenz, Richard (Marilyn) Lenz, both of Litt le Chute. One daughter Lois Lenz, Little chute, three sons, Bill and Jan et Lenz, grandchildren Ben, Nate and Seth, Little Chute; Bob and Carol Len z, grandchildren, Amber, Danielle, David, Joyel, Tim, Little Chute; Jim a nd Mary Lenz grandchildren, Liesha and Bethany of Green Bay. He worked f or years at Lenz's Keenway and then SC Shannon Co. He was a devoted follow er of the Lord Jesus. He was an active member of Christ The Rock Communi ty Church, and a big supporter of Life Promotions. He will be remember ed for being a faithful husband, an awesome dad, a super grandpa, a loy al friend, a special brother in Christ, a great neighbor, a true gentlema n. Whether he was working, fishing, hunting, playing cribbage, checker s, or worshiping at a church service he will be remembered as a Christi an who lived what he believed in; the relationships of life. Funeral serv ices will be held 6:30 p.m., Monday September 11th, 2000 at Christ The Ro ck Community Church of Menasha with Reverend David VandeHei officiatin g. In lieu of flowers a Memorial fund has been established in his honor.
