- Jean A. Spoehr, 63, Neenah, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, at Appleton Medical Center.
Jean was born Nov. 8, 1947, in Bear Creek, the daughter of Reginald and Laura Malliet. Jean was united in marriage to Donald Spoehr on Sept. 21, 1969, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Bear Creek. She was employed with the Outlook Group, town of Menasha.
Jean loved spending time with her family; she loved her grandchildren very much. She and Don enjoyed bowling together and taking one day "vacations".
Survivors include her husband, Donald; a son, Donald, Jr. (Tracy) Spoehr, Winchester; three grandchildren, Carole, Rebecca, and Ryan "R.J."; four sisters, Millie Ver Voort, Combined Locks; Rose Conlon, Fremont; Myrtle Fernandez, Abilene, T.X.; and Verna (James) Heise, Ripon; three brothers, Delbert (Kathy) Malliet, Centennial, Colo.; Lyle (Bonnie) Malliet, Neenah; Walter (Lois) Malliet, Bear Creek; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Carolyn and Joan; and a brother, Loy.
The Funeral Mass for Jean will be celebrated Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, 11:30 a.m., at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Neenah, with Father Michael Ingold as celebrant. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesday, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home, and again from 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, until the hour of mass at the church. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Bear Creek. Westgor Funeral Home
