- Pearl L. Korth, 95, longtime resident of Green Bay, died Sunday, June 21, 2009. She was born May 31, 1914, in New London, to Alex and Zoe (Young) Petit. On June 16, 1932, she married Alvin Korth in Black Creek. Pearl had been employed at Prange Way for 25 years.
Pearl is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Alex and Barbara Korth, Oconto; her daughters and sons-in-law, Zoe and Jim Fameree, Green Bay; Marietta and Ted Bader, Rio Creek; her grandchildren, Steve, Kathleen (Brett), Matthew, Melissa, John, Michael (Jessie), Angela, Susan (Joe), Joe (Deb); her great-grandchildren, Travis, Collin, Wyatt, and Zachary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin; a son, Bill; and her brother, Frank.
Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Friends may also call at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 211 N. Maple Street on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Don Everts officiating. Burial will be in St. Denis Cemetery, Shiocton.
