- Traci L. (Beyer) Langenhuizen, age 31 of New London, died at her residence on Monday morning, March 28, 2016, with her loving husband by her side following a courageous 16 month battle with brain cancer. Traci was born on October 5, 1984, in New London, the daughter of Lawrence and Roxanne (Hanson) Beyer. She attended New London High School graduating in 2003. Following graduation, Traci attended UW-Oshkosh graduating in 2008 with a degree in Human Resources. While in college Traci was employed at Curwood in New London and then accepted employment with Bemis of Oshkosh in the Human Resource Department following her college graduation. In October of 2010 Traci started dating Craig Langenhuizen. The two wed on June 26, 2015, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London.
As a child, Traci found joy in making people smile and laugh. Her presence and energy was contagious. This foundation of love, joy and respect, she carried into her young adulthood.
Traci brought us on many adventures boating, campfires, magazine games, sleepovers, bowling, and sports. Always finding a way to make great memories with anyone she was around. She was always the friend who led the group and although she didn't always lead us in the right direction, we never got lost and always ended up somewhere fun. She was always one who could be counted on to lean on. A devoted wife, daughter, sister, niece, aunt, godmother, and friend that was there to be confided in at any moment.
Traci packed a lot of living in the short amount of time with us. The memories, the laughs and the tears of Traci's life will live on in each of us she touched.
Traci is survived by her loving husband, Craig; parents, Larry and Roxanne Beyer; brother, Travis (Sandra) Beyer; nieces and nephew, Isabella, Charlotte, Emmastasia, and Liam; paternal grandmother, Shirlee Beyer; maternal grandmother, MaryAnn Hanson; earthly grandfather figure, Rev. Leroy Smet; mother in-law, Lois (Greg) Seremeta; father in-law, Michael (Brenda) Langenhuizen; step brother-in-law, Scott (Angie) Krug; step sisters in-law, Shelley (Kevin) Alspaugh and Chelsea Seremeta; and godparents, Lyle (Donna) Beyer.
