- See Image Daughter-In-Law, 2 Grandchildren Of Plymouth Woman Die In Crash The daughter-in-law and two grandchildren of a rural Plymouth woman were killed Saturday in a grinding head-on collision with a flatbed truck near Weyauwega in Waupaca County. Killed were Mrs. Darlene Littlefield, 24, her 7-year-old son, LaWayne, and daughter, Tammy Sue, 6. Mrs. Littlefield was the wife of Robert W. Littlefield, Appleton, whose mother, Mrs. Earl Littlefield, reside s at R. 3, Plymouth. Also surviving are the Littlefield children's paternal greatgrandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Humphrey of Sheboygan Falls. Waupaca County Sheriff William E. Mork said Mrs. Littlefield and two of her three children were killed at 1 p.m. Saturday when their car was struck by an oncoming truck on Highway 10, about two miles south of Weyauwega. Mork said the truck, operated by William H. Rebik, 38, of rural Waupaca, was apparently attempting to pass a farm vehicle when the truck swerved into Mrs. Littlefield's car. The three occupants of the auto were dead at the scene, Mork said. Rebik and his wife, riding in the truck with him, were not injured. Mrs. Littlefield was driving to Weyauwega to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard S. Thiel. Her husband, and the couple's third child, Melissa, had stayed at their home in Appleton. Mrs. Littlefield was born Jan. 14, 1943, in New London, and lived on a nearby farm until her marriage, when she moved to Appleton. . LaWayne Littlefield was born Nov. 2, 1960, in Appleton, and his sister, Tammy Sue, was born Oct. 3, 1961, also in Appleton. Combined funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Faith Lutheran Church in Appleton, with the Rev. Henry E. Simon, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Appleton, from 5 to 9 p.m. today, and at the church from 10:30 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services. A memorial fund has been established in the children's name.
