- Alice A. Kosmerchock of Neenah, age 89, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday evening, December 6, 2011 at Theda Clark Medical Center. She was born on July 15, 1922 in Bear Creek, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Charles and Julia Sullivan. On November 23, 1948 she married Mayford J. Kosmerchock in Manawa, and the marriage was blessed with 9 children before he preceded her in death in 1977. Alice was an active member of St. Gabriel Parish in Neenah, where she volunteered much of her time. She enjoyed quilting at the Menasha Senior Center as well. She loved to watch the Brewers and the Packers play. Alice was a gracious woman who loved unconditionally and she was the best cook in the world.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Bruce (Bonnie)Kosmerchock, Shiocton, Mike (Cindy) Kosmerchock, Hortonville, Janice (Dan) Babler, Van Dyne, Susan (Dewey) Lorge, Neenah, John ( Sp. Friend Nancy) Kosmerchock, Little Chute, Kathy (Bill) Hahn, Neenah, Karen (Dave) Obermeier, Neenah, Mary Kosmerchock, Neenah, Julie Kosmerchock, Neenah; 21 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; brothers: William (Mary Jane) Sullivan, David (Bev) Sullivan, Charles (Marie) Sullivan, sisters-in-law: Marcedus Sullivan, Joyce Kosmerchock; brothers-in-law: LaVerne (Gerry) Kosmerchock, Oscar Hoffman; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Jack (Rose) Sullivan, Jim Sullivan, Marcus Sullivan; one sister, Elaine (William) Gough; siblings-in-law: Lorraine (Ben) Leonard, June Hoffman, Ruth (Tony) Librizzi, Victor Kosmerchock.
The Funeral Mass for Alice will be held on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel Parish with Father Larry Seidl officiating. Friends will be received on Thursday evening, TONIGHT, December 8, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home and again on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service directly at church. Alice will be laid to rest next to her husband at St. Margaret Cemetery immediately following Mass on Friday.
