- Schell, Gregory "Greg"
Gregory "Greg" Schell, Kaukauna, 48, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2008, at home with his family by his side following a battle with cancer. He was born Feb. 24, 1960, in Kaukauna son of James and Margaret (VanDen Bosch) Schell. On Feb. 16, 1995, Greg married the former Barb Millay in Jamaica. The couple lived in Kaukauna their entire married lives. He was employed at Appleton Papers for 30 years. Greg loved fishing, hunting, and camping with his Dad in the north woods. He and his wife enjoyed traveling, motorcycle riding and scuba diving together.
He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Barb, and his father, James "Punk" Schell, both of Kaukauna; one brother, Mark Schell, Grand Chute; and one sister, Becky (Gary) Kempen, Kaukauna. He is further survived by his wife's family, Jim and Pat Millay, Stockbridge; Dorothy Millay, Texas; Marie (Gregg) Taylor, Texas; nine stepbrothers and stepsisters, numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret.
Memorial Service for Greg will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna with Fr. Dave Pleier officiating. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in his name. 920-766-2099.
