  See Image Ethel Van Der Burgt , 1304 Kenneth Ave. Kaukauna Age 62, died Wednesday, October 11, 2000 at the Prair ie Home in Menasha following a lengthy illness. She was born February 12, 1938 in Green Bay, da ughter of Clement and Colette (VanLanen) Vande Hey. On September 1, 1958 Ethel married James V an Der Burgt at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna. The couple resided in Kaukauna their e ntire married lives. Ethel enjoyed poetry and bible studies. She was a very social person, she lov ed people. Ethel was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Kaukauna. Survivors include her husba nd of 42 years, James, Kaukauna; their children: Lisa (Ken) Kelly, Pembine, Wisconsin; Brenda V an Der Burgt and special friend, Pamela Davis, Tampa, Florida; Michael Van Der Burgt and speci al friend, Michelle Priebe, Appleton; four grandchildren: Misty, Tristan, Taylor and Miranda Kell y; her mother, Colette (Vande Hey) Nytes, Kaukauna; a sister and brother-in-law, Joanne (Dr. Anton e) Grosso, Underwood, Washington; a step-brother and sister-in-law, Ron (Mary Kay) Nytes, Ka ukauna; numerous nieces and nephews. She is further survived by her husband's family: Veroni ca Sanders, Little Chute; Carol Van Der Burgt, JoAnn (Bill) Ebben, all of Kaukauna; Julia (Ralph) Hendr icks, De Pere; Rose "Zenah" (Ron) Garvey, Appleton; Bernadelle (Earl) Green, Kaukauna. She was pre ceded in death by her father, Clement, her step-father, Herbert Nytes, a daughter, Michelle, her fa ther-in-law, Martin Van Der Burgt and a brother-in-law, Adrian Van Der Burgt. Funeral services w ill be held 12 Noon Monday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with Father David Schmidt off iciating. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Kaukauna. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at t he Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldrest Dr., Kaukauna, and after 10:30 a.m. Monday dir ectly at the church until the time of services.
