FreedomAge 88, died Monday, January 1, 2001, at the Parkside Care Center in Litt le Chute. She was born March 26, 1912, in Darboy, daughter of the late Cha rles and Catherine Grode. Adeline was a lifelong resident of the Freedom a rea. She and her husband, Joseph, farmed for 52 years prior to his dea th in 1986. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom, a nd the Christian Mothers. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, D on (Jean) Fox, Freedom; four daughters and sons-in-laws, Barb (Merle) Wagn er, Seymour; Ann (Ron) Mueller, Appleton; Linda (Wayne) Hatton, Little Chu te; Rita Fox, Antigo; Ken Lorenz, Black Creek; 20 grandchildren, Mike (Cin dy) Fox, Ellen Fox, Amy (Joe) Alanaz, Karen (Steve) Brazee, Carol Fox, T om Fox, George (Elaine) Lorenz, Debbie (Bill) Krause, Cindy (Dennis) Verst egen, Doug (Wendy) Wagner, Paula (Ross) Van Dyn Hoven, Aaron Wagner, Mar k, Matt and Luke Mueller, Bob Hatton (fiancee Veronica), Scott (Sarah) Hat ton, Jackie, Joey and Jennie Schilcher; 16 great-grandchildren; two sister s-in-law, Mildred Grode, Freedom; Gloria Grode, Little Chute, numerous nie ces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, a daugh ter, Pat Lorenz; three brothers, Willard, Roland and Edmund; six sister s, Laura, Ella, Mary, Rose, Alma and Vi. Funeral services will be he ld at 3:30 p.m. Friday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom, with F r. Dennis Ryan officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Friends may ca ll from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fi eldcrest Drive, Kaukauna, and again after 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funer al home until the cortege leaves for the church. There will be a parish pr ayer service at 7 p.m. Thursday. A memorial fund has been established in h er name.
