- Lester J. Wyngaard, Kaukauna, age 65, son of the late Anthony and Juanita (Wilson) Wyngaard born June 4, 1944 passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2009, at Appleton Medical Center with his family by his side. He served his country in the United States Army and lived most of his life in Kaukauna. Les retired from Thilmany Mill and recently was employed at Eagle Links Golf Course.
He will be greatly missed by his life partner, Sue Ellen Van Lanen and his children: Sherry (Todd) Lambie, Patty (Scott) Werth, Theirry Nottlet, Jay (Melissa) Van Lanen, and Joy (Paul) Vanden Plas, his grandchildren: Mike, Sara, Kelly, Melissa, Amber, Katelynn, and expected baby granddaughter to be Isabelle, brothers and sisters: Doris (Milton) Mahnke, Wilma (Bob) Schroder, Anthony (Darlene) Wyngaard Jr., John (Judy) Wyngaard, Francis (Lynda) Wyngaard, Elroy Wyngaard, Lynn (Ron) Brux, Donna (Neal) Dercks, Marvin Wyngaard, and Karen (Fred) Young. His is further survived by nieces, nephews, and numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, twin brothers, Dale and Dean, Nieces, Nikki and Tina Mahnke.
Lester's Memorial Service will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2009, at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established. 920-766-2099.
