Ludwig, age 76, passed away peacefully with his two daughte rs by his side on Wednesday morning, January 1, 2003 at Good Shepherd Nurs ing Home, Seymour. He was born June 1, 1926 in Kaukauna the son of the la te Joseph and Monica (Jarocki) Ludwig. On September 22, 1949 he was unit ed in marriage to Regina Jansen in Little Chute. She preceded him in dea th October 17, 1992. Richard was employed with Vinyl Pro Windows for ma ny years. He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Freedom V FW. Dick was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom.He is survived by his children: Linda (Terry) Beyer, Seymour; Deb (Tom) V an Eperen, Kaukauna; Terry (Susan) Ludwig, Suring; his grandchildren: Kev in Beyer, UW-Stevens Point; Rodney Van Eperen, Kaukauna; Tyler, Kimberl y, Tylynn and Austin Ludwig, Suring. He is further survived by two brother s, Melvin "Curly" and James Ludwig, Las Vegas, NV; a brother-in-law, Jer ry Van Camp, Kaukauna; sisters-in-law, Grace (Bruce) Schoemmer, Keshena; J oyce (Wolcott) Anderson, Waupaca; also, his special friend, Elaine Murph y, Appleton; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.He was preceded in death by his wife, Regina; his son, Gary Ludwig; a gran dson, Scott Van Eperen; his sister, Donna Van Camp; and his brothers, Jose ph Ludwig, Jr.; Robert (Donna) Ludwig; and Ronald Ludwig.Friends may call at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom from 9 a.m. on S aturday, January 4, 2003 until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon wi th Father Dennis Ryan officiating. The burial will be in the parish cemete ry. The Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour is assisting the family.In our hearts his family will always appreciate everything that Dad's be st friend, Elaine Murphy, has done to help us through the difficult time s.
