  Grace M. Huss, age 85, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011 at Appleton Health Care. She was born on August 12, 1925 in Little Chute, WI; daughter of the late Frank and Antonia (VanBoakel) Simons. On August 14, 1948, she was married to Vincent G. Huss. She loved traveling, dancing, playing cards and socializing with family and friends. Grace is survived by her husband, Vincent, Appleton; daughter, Terry (Jeffrey) Schiesl, Black Creek, grandson, Scott Schiesl, Nichols; sister, Nellie Shillcox; brother, George (Irene) Simons and sisters-in-law, Phley Huss and Marion Ploedrel. Grace was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael Huss; daughter, Sandra Czarnik Huss; brother, Joseph (Katie) Simons; sister, Anna Marie (James) Hodkiewicz, brothers-in-law, Grant Shillcox, Lloyd Huss, Orville Bud (Thelma) Huss and Harry Ploedrel, and sister-in-law, Isabelle (Raymond) Whitman. A service for Grace will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. at Valley Funeral Home. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3:00 5:00 p.m. A memorial fund is being established in her name.
