- Mildred Huss, 84, Little Chute, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2010. She was born March 29, 1926, in the Town of Vandenbroek, daughter of John and Hattie (Williamsen) Schumacher. Mildred married Robert W. Huss on Sept. 1, 1948, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 29, 2005.
Millie loved playing cards, baking and cooking, and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute.
Mildred is survived by her children, Carl Huss, Kimberly; Roger (Ann) Huss, Kaukauna, and their daughter, Linda (Bob) Fassbender and her children, Derek, Dominic and Brianna Quella; Donna (Dennis) Day, Kimberly, and their children, Craig (Tanya) Day and their children, Tyler and Trent Day; and Brad (Emilie) Day and their daughter, Gracie Day; Karen (Steve) Boldt, Kimberly, and their children, Jeremy (Ashley) Boldt and his children, Gavin, Kalib, and Baby Boldt due in March; and Nathan Boldt; Sharon (Dale) Rohloff, New London, and their children, Sally, Sadie and Danielle Rohloff; Keith (Jodie) Huss, Kaukauna, and their son, Seth Huss; Lyle Huss, Brownsville, and his children, Erin (Jason) Kissinger and their children, Myana and Katelyn; and Brendan and Ally Huss; Allan (Julie) Huss, Kaukauna, and their children, Amy, Tonya and Joe Huss; sister and brothers, Rita Hoffman, Appleton; Harold (Germaine) Schumacher, Little Chute; twin brother, Maurice (Florus) Schumacher, Appleton; Gene (Eleanor) Schumacher, Little Chute; Marvin (Leona) Schumacher, Rhinelander; Jack (Katie) Schumacher, Appleton; James (Donna) Schumacher, Kimberly; Marion Schumacher, Neenah; and Tess Schumacher, Little Chute; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Nancy (John) Schmidt, Kaukauna; Jerry (Dee) Huss, Little Chute; Cleon (Marian) Huss, Little Chute; Floyd (Arlene) Huss; George (Rosie) Huss; and Kenneth (Rosie) Huss, all of Kaukauna; and also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter-in-law, Carol Huss; brothers, Peter (Betty) Schumacher, Joe (Mary) Schumacher, Clarence Schumacher; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kenneth Hoffman, Lawrence (Agnes) Huss and Sylvester (Ethel) Huss.
Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6, 2010, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 323 S. Pine Street, Little Chute. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. Visitation will be held at the church from 2:30 p.m. Monday until the time of the Mass.
