William's purchase from Henry was from Volume"10" of the La nd Deeds records for your reference. There were no actual record #s, ju st the page number by volume.I couldn't find Henry's purchase under the "land parcel index" and th is is because the land purchase was recorded erroneously under Secti on 7. I ended up finding it (its really section 6) through the names ind ex which I didn't know existed until one of the clerks showed me. There w ere some cross references noted in the margins of the sale from Henry to son Willi am . . . I looked at one, and it seemed to be a character reference. I d on't know if these were because of the land recording error or if Theodore Reider died intestate.

From Rob in Luxembourg Mary Thill did find a Henry and Elisabeth Ruppert and children, but they were from Hesse and did not come until 1853, 4 years after our Henry Ruppert and family were here. The names were Johann, age 6, Heinrich, 5, Elizabeth, 6 months. Henry was 43 and Elizabeth was 24. they came to USA in 1853 from Hesse.
