  MARY HOMER BINGHAM, Jan 8, '52 at a rest home in Los Angeles. Born and prepared for college in Wisconsin, Mary moved with her family to California soon after graduation. Interested in the legal problems of foreign-born women in Los Angeles, she took courses in law that she might assist them. Always a leader in college activities, she helped found the College Settlement in Los Angeles and was its president for several years. She was a charter member of the Smith Club there and, as long as health permitted, actively concerned in its doings. Mary was a loyal friend, happiest when helping people who most needed assistance.
