- Kevin R. Niec, age 37, of New Holstein passed away unexpectedly at home July 1, 2012. Kevin was born April 8, 1975 in Appleton to Robert and Barbara (Pethke) Niec. He graduated from Hortonville High school in 1993. He was united in marriage to Bridget Burgess on February 25, 2006 in Appleton. Kevin enjoyed camping, hunting and spending time with family and friends. He worked at Altitude Roofing in New Holstein.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Bridget; four children, Darrin (12), Breyden (11), Emma (11), and Cassie (7); his parents, Robert and Barbara Niec, Black Creek; a sister, Peggy (Kyle) Kositzke, Freedom; three brothers-in-law, Jake Bink, Kyle Burgess and Tyler Burgess: his grandmother, Mildred Pethke, Suring; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Arno and Barbara Krupp, New Holstein; two nieces, Briana and Lilli; and a nephew, Carter.
He was preceded in death by his son, Angelo; his grandparents, Edward Sr. and Gladys Niec and Otto Pethke; and his father-in-law, Brian Burgess.
Funeral services will be held at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond Street, Appleton at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2012. Pastor Jennifer Kuhnert will officiate. Visitation will be Friday from 9 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Online condolences may be expressed at www.valleyfh.com.
