- DuChateau, Marion C. Marion C. DuChateau, 84, Ashwaubenon, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 29, 20 04 at a local nursing home. Marion was born Aug. 28, 1919, in Suamico to t he late Earl and Hilda (Hussin) Cumps. On Jan. 21, 1936, she married LaVer ne DuChateau in the Town of Howard. He preceded her in death on March 1, 1 986. Together, they ran the Townline Tavern for sixteen years until the ir retirement in 1982. She enjoyed Bingo; and in her younger years snowmob iling. Survivors include her sons, Marlin (Sandy) DuChateau, Athelstane; Ronald D uChateau, Green Bay; Gary (Janice) DuChateau, Athelstane; Jim (Linda) DuCh ateau, Suamico; Gerald (Shirley) DuChateau, Suamico; 11 grandchildren; sev en great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Devroy, Green Bay; sisters-in- law, Violet DuChateau and Delores Cumps, both of Suamico. Marion was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, Raym ond "Pee-Wee" Cumps. The family will receive friends at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home, Howard-Su amico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane, on Tuesday, March 2, 2004 from 4 unt il 7:30 p.m. Funeral service 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with t he Rev. William Swichtenberg officiating. Burial in St. John the Baptist C hurch Cemetery, Howard. Andrew J. Pfotenhauer, Funeral Director.
