- Adeline E. Morse, 91, Neenah, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2009. She was born May 16, 1918, in Neenah, daughter of the late William and Bernice (Brown) Blohm. Adeline graduated from Neenah High School. She married Sherwin Morse on March 15, 1940. He preceded her in death in 1991.
Adeline enjoyed golfing, crafts with her hands like knitting and sewing, and especially baking. She was an avid Packers fan and loved traveling with her husband. They attended the first two Super Bowls together.
Survivors include a sister, Geraldine (Erhardt) Badtke, Neenah; six children, William Morse, Neenah; Judith (Richard) Pendleton, Brookings, Ore.; Michael (Vickie) Morse, Oshkosh; Stephan (Susan) Morse, Waupaca; Debbie Vanderheiden (special friend, George Crafts), Menasha; Mark (Kathleen) Morse, Menasha; 14 grandchildren, Melissa (Michael) White, Surprise, Ariz.; Gregory (Cheri) Reed, Sparks, Nev.; Steven Reed, Brookings, Ore.; Mitchell (Liz McKinnell) Morse, Beaverton, Ore.; Michale (Michael) Maxwell, Goodyear, Ariz.; Zachary and Joshua Morse, Waupaca; Jonathan Vanderheiden (Sarah Rohr), Menasha; Jodi Vanderheiden (fiance, Michael Mueller), Menasha; Jaime Vanderheiden (Casey West), Neenah; Stacy (Chad) Arndt, Greenville; Amy (Kevin) VerVoort, Hortonville; Bobbie (Dave) Wood, Appleton; Megan Morse, Neenah; nine great-grandchildren, Mekhi and Miah White, Surprise, Ariz.; Justin, Kelli and Ami Reed, Sparks, Nev.; Makaylah Maxwell, Goodyear, Ariz.; Matthew Vanderheiden, Menasha; Mackenzie and Maiyah Vanderheiden-West, Neenah; Javon Morse, Neenah; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Elmer Blohm; and a son-in-law, Ken Vanderheiden.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until the hour of service.
