- Dehn, Victor A.Victor A. Dehn, age 90, of Oshkosh, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 200 6, at home. He was born September 25, 1915, in Rosendale, a son of Frank a nd Ella (Zimmerman) Dehn. He was united in marriage to Virginia M. Rei tz on December 7, 1940, at First English Church. Victor was a farmer and a lso worked 16 years for C.H. Deniger. In 1960, Victor purchased a cattle h auling business, Victor Dehn & Son.He was a member of The Truckers Association. He enjoyed camping with his m otor home, family gatherings, and also a good game of Rook. Victor was a c harter member of Calvary Lutheran Church and served as an usher. He was al so a member of Senior Saints of St. Johns Church of Nekimi.Victor was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-gr andfather. He is survived by his loving caregiver of 65 years, Virginia De hn, of Oshkosh; one son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Nancy Dehn, of Oshk osh; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Bruce Peterson, of Larsen; fi ve grandchildren: Michele (Fred) Ubrig, of Oshkosh; Susan (Ray) Poff, of O shkosh; Christine Potratz, of Oshkosh; Amy (Michael) Korth, of New Londo n; Michael Peterson, of Larsen; seven great-grandchildren: Mitchell Ubri g, Amanda, Raymond, and Ryan Poff, Andrew and Allison Potratz, all of Oshk osh; Lora Korth, of New London; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Don na Dehn, Ray (Flossie) Reitz, Hilbert Wilke, Amber (Foster) Plantz, Rex (D onna) Reitz; and many nieces and nephews.Victor was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter-in-law, Judy Deh n; two brothers, Ervin and Lester Dehn; two sisters, Irene Kumbier and Lor raine Mosher; and one sister-in-law, Loretta Wilke.Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2006, at 11 a. m. at Calvary Lutheran Church, 2580 W. 9th Ave., Oshkosh, with Pastor Ran dy Van Ert officiating. Burial will follow in the Ellenwood Cemetery, Oshk osh. Family and friends may call at the church on Friday, February 3rd fr om 4 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the servic e. A memorial has been established in Victor's name.
