- Dybas, Joseph F.Joseph F. Dybas, Appleton, age 66, passed away Monday, August 7, 200 6, at his home. Joe was born March 14, 1940, in Hammond, Indiana, the s on of the late Frank and Helen (Gill) Dybas. He was united in marria ge to Lois V. Hollowell on March 29, 1970, and she preceded him in dea th on October 11, 2002. Prior to his retirement, Joe was a computer progra mmer for many years, working in the Fox Valley for different companies.Joe was a parishioner of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, and was an acti ve church volunteer. He enjoyed listening to old time radio programs and m usic, taking long drives in his van and enjoying a cigar. Joe was an av id Green Bay Packers fan. In the past he was a league bowler and liked hun ting.Survivors include his sister, Rose Schefke, of Bancroft; and his two niece s, Diane Schefke and Beverly Schefke, also of Bancroft.A Memorial Mass for Joseph will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, August 1 1, 2006, at ST. THOMAS MORE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1810 North McDonald Street, A ppleton, WI, 54911, with Father Gerald Falk as celebrant. Urn burial wi ll be in Riverside Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10 a.m. Fr iday until the time of mass at the church. A memorial has been establish ed to benefit St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
